Hello there!
I am Manuel Bravi, born in 1978 in Ravenna, Italy. After high school I moved to Venice to study graphics at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica Venezia, where I met, among others, Lorenzo Vitturi, who inspired my interest in the manipulative and surrealistic capabilities of photography.
After my studies, I moved to Milan and started collaborating with Studio ZAT, SGP photo agency and the communication agency Inrete, working as photo retoucher, photographer and graphic designer for fashion brands such as Armani, Versace, Ferretti or Acqua di Parma, the MUDEC museum and institutions like Regione Lombardia.
My personal photographic research is inspired by music: the heavy metal imagery, the psychedelic light shows, the music video’s movement itself. All these elements converge into my works on dancers, dark practices, intimist still lives and are pushing me forward with video itself… stay tuned!
